Wise Hotkey aims to help you get things done faster by letting you assign hotkeys to applications, folders and websites. When you want to launch an application, just use the hotkey you assigned to that application. When you want to open a folder, use the use the hotkey you assigned to that folder. And when you want to access a website, well, you get the idea by now.

There’s nothing complicated about installing Wise Hotkey on a Windows-powered computer. You’ll have to go through a standard installation procedure that’s all too familiar: download an installer, run it, follow the instructions presented onscreen.

On its dark-themed interface, Wise Hotkey presents a list of hotkeys and the targets that are associated to each hotkey. In the screenshots and video that accompany this review you’ll see that Firefox is assigned to Alt +1. Using the Alt + 1 hotkey will launch Mozilla’s Firefox web browser. Obviously, you can change the hotkey or the target to something else. Wise Hotkey can launch applications, access folders, and open websites.

Wise Hotkey sits in the background as you go about your day. When it detects that you pressed a hotkey , it will launch the application, open the folder, or access the website that is assigned to that hotkey. The downside is that the trial version of Wise Hotkey doesn’t let you set up an unlimited number of hotkeys. You’ll have to purchase a license to be able to do that.

Get things done faster by using hotkeys. Thanks to Wise Hotkey, you can launch applications, access folders, and open websites with a simple hotkey.

Pros

Installing Wise Hotkey on a Windows PC is an effortless task. The dark-themed interface is easy to figure out. Assign custom hotkeys to applications, folders, and websites. There is an option to temporarily disable Wise Hotkey.

Cons

The trial version doesn’t let you assign an unlimited number of hotkeys.
